About LOL Leaders
Gail Fricker of Knox United Church & Lloyd Oakey of Calvary Church collaborate in leading junior youth to LIVE OUT LOUD on Wednesdays after school. This LOL program is designed to build relationships and expand life experiences for children in grades 5 to 8. Gail and Lloyd work together to encourage, inspire and challenge the children to develop spiritual and social skills needed for life, and to LIVE OUT LOUD.
Lloyd Oakey
Pastor, Calvary Church
Pastor Lloyd Oakey provides spiritual leadership at Calvary Church. A graduate of Eastern Pentecostal Bible College, and a Reverend of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, Pastor Oakey has provided solid leadership to congregations across Southwestern Ontario for over 38 years.
Gail Fricker
Minister, United Church
Gail graduated from Five Oaks as a Licensed Lay Worship Leader, and has taught many courses on Biblical Storytelling at Tyndale and Emmanuel Bible colleges. Blessed with the gift of storytelling, Gail has travelled all over the world as a professional storyteller. Gail also has a background in Theater and Drama, and taught Dramatic Arts in schools for the last 20 years.
